Game Changing Animation Scores Big for Broadcast TV

Challenge

 

Dick’s Sporting Goods was looking for a modern video campaign strategy to launch their new mobile application and position Dick’s Sporting Good’s as a tech-forward, leader in the retail space. Following a successful campaign and launch of the mobile application, we were again challenged to create a holiday TV spot within the same campaign idea.

Solution

 

happyMedium designed and developed an animated video campaign that spans broadcast TV, social and paid digital media. The campaign’s high-energy, fast-paced 3D graphics spotlight the new and improved Dick’s mobile application and omni-channel purchase options. The spots feature an assortment of products, with a focus on athletic shoes and the holiday’s hottest gifts in an unexpected, animated environment.

Results

 

The animated app hype and holiday spots broadened awareness while increasing application downloads and in-app purchases over a 4+ week span.
